Objectives of the Project:
- Real time Contingency Plan Implementation
- To demonstrate the performance of potential intercrops for stability under varied climatic situation.
- To demonstrate the performance of potential alternate cropping systems.
- Maximizing Productivity in Adverse Climatic Conditions
- To popularize protected cultivation for early and higher productivity
- Efficient Irrigation Methods
- To demonstrate efficient use of water through improved irrigation methods
- To demonstrate the need of timely irrigation for efficient water use efficiency.
- Integrated Nutrient Management
- To demonstrate the effect of integrated nutrient management
- Popularization of resistant varieties and timely surveillance for management
of insect pest and diseases under varying climatic conditions
